If we look back to our Round 5 clash against West Adelaide at City Mazda Stadium we can honestly say that it was a game that we needed to win? We should have won? But we somehow managed to let it slip after leading for all bar the last minute of the game. It seemed to be the moment in our season to date that everything took a turn for the worse.
In the return bout on Saturday we will take to the field looking for revenge & with the senior coaches very keen to have a look at some of the young players who have performed well in the Reserves over the past few weeks.
Tim Webber will play his first league game if selected once the 22 man squad is reduced to 21 after training tomorrow night. Brady Dawe & Will Young both come in after playing less than a handful of games each this year. Simon Phillips also returns after missing last week’s poor performance against the Magpies with the flu.
Nick Lower (Power)& Tim Weatherald (hamstring) could not be considered whilst Kenrick Tyrrell & Brendan Littler were omitted.
Please take note that all three grades will play on Saturday Reserves at 11.15am, League at 2.00pm followed by the U18 at 4.45pm.
